Renewing Free Domain in Co.CC

How to renew domain freely is my intention since I have been used a free co.cc domain for my blog. Even this blog used to apply this free co.cc domain but not long after setting up the free co.cc domain, I converted to .info extension due to never lasting under examination note from co.cc administrator.
However I did not give up to use co.cc. When I wanted to set up another blog with wordpress platform and free hosting space, it was the time to apply the free co.cc domain again. Applying co.cc combined with wordpress engine and free byethost hosting space is a perfect material when we want to learn much the configuration how a blog works.
Though I often feel worried of using the free co.cc domain since it ever gave me "under examination" note for my previous blog, but for the free learning medium, it was the risk. After one year using that co.cc, today I have a note that the domain has lasted for one year and it is time to renew.
I wonder whether renewing the domain is still free or not. I just follow the step and finally found the form of personal usage choice. If we used for personal blog then it will keep free. In contrary, if we want to use commercial site, then we need to pay $3 a year. Of course I choose that for personal blog for the renewing domain free of charge. Renewing domain of co.cc is really free.
